Diversion to Service 4 - Thursday 7th July 2022
The Service 4 bus which serves Lerwick and Scalloway will be diverted through the Black Gaet between the hours of 1000 and 1830 on Thursday due to essential road resurfacing works at the Brig o Fitch junction.
In the Lerwick to Scalloway direction, the bus will follow its normal route until it reaches the stop opposite Bolts. From there it will proceed up the Old North Road, down Holmsgarth Brae, along Holmsgarth Road and Lochside and head towards Scalloway using the South Road and the Black Gaet.
In the Scalloway to Lerwick direction, the bus will come in to Lerwick via the Black Gaet and South Road, proceed along Lochside, up the Old North Road, down Holmsgarth Brae, along Holmsgarth Road and North Road to Bolts, where it will resume its normal route around Lerwick.
The stops impacted upon will be the JRJ’s stop and the Shetland Hotel stop. Passengers should use the stop at the top of the Holmsgarth Brae and the stop outside the Northlink Terminal instead, during these hours.
